Who may establish a KissTrust?

A KissTrust may be established by anyone, for anyone...

  • by a parent for a child
  • by a grandparent for a grandchild
  • by an aunt or uncle for a niece or nephew
  • by a family friend for someone else's child
  • by an employer for employees' children (employees will be taxed on this benefit)
  • by anyone for disadvantaged children, orphans or children of soldiers, policemen and firefighters

Anyone can set up a KissTrust for a child as long as the child has a Social Security number and is a US citizen.
